The Laurel Alpinist, born in 1959 as Seiko’s first sports watch, was built to withstand the demands of mountaineering and outdoor adventure. Its modern successor stays true to that legacy, combining toughness and practicality with a design that is at home both in nature and the city. With features designed for outdoor use and a touch of playful elegance, the Alpinist has evolved into a classic sports watch for every occasion. The latest model embodies the essence of the original, carrying the Alpinist forward with upgraded specifications worthy of the Prospex collection.

Carrying on the tradition of the original Laurel Alpinist launched in 1959, the Alpinist logo is placed just below the Seiko logo at the 12 o'clock position. The dial is rendered in a striking green color that enhances this watch’s distinctive presence.

The case back is adorned with a mountain range motif, highlighting the Alpinist worldview.

The watch is powered by the Caliber 6R55 mechanical movement, which boasts high reliability and a long power reserve lasting three full days. The stainless steel case features a hard coating that resists minor scratches, helping to maintain its beautiful appearance over time. Water resistant to 200m, it delivers performance well-suited for a field watch.

The strap is crafted from calf leather for a beautiful appearance and a sense of comfort and quality on the wrist.
